Judging process

Through the judging stages the artist will not be known to any members of the panel. Judges will be blind to everything except the work itself.

The stages

Received
You have submitted your entry, and paid your entry fee.
Accepted
All works are checked to ensure they meet the standard entry requirements for the prize.
They are not be judged at this stage.
Short list
This is where the judging begins.
Finalist
All finalists are invited to exhibit their work at the Richmond Art Society Summer Exhibition.
Winner
From the finalists, the independent judges will select the winning entry. The winner is announced at the opening evening of the RAS Summer Exhibition.
